Just IT life

A new joiner asked a colleague, “How do things work here?”
He smiled and said, “Very simple… we create tasks, assign them, discuss them, move them, and finally… reopen them.

A team decided to reduce meetings and focus on work.
So they scheduled a meeting to discuss how to reduce meetings.
That meeting led to another follow-up meeting.

One teammate always kept his mic muted during calls.
One day he forgot and started talking at home about something completely unrelated.
The entire team went silent…
After a pause, the manager said, “Good to know your thoughts.”

A colleague joined a call from home and kept nodding like he understood everything.
Manager said, “Great, since you’re aligned, can you explain the approach?”
He paused…
then said, “Actually, I was just agreeing with the overall direction.”

One colleague always used big words in meetings.
“Synergy”, “alignment”, “leverage”…
After the meeting, a teammate asked, “What exactly are we doing?”
He said, “We’ll figure it out… but it sounded good, right?”

A developer pushed code on Friday evening.
He said, “It’s a small change.”
Saturday morning, production went down.
Team created a bridge call.
He joined quietly.
He said, “Let’s not jump to conclusions.”

A tester said, “This is a critical bug.”
Developer said, “How critical?”
Tester said, “Client can see it.”
Developer said, “Okay, now it’s critical.”
